Mail Ballot & Registration Deadlines


Overseas mail ballots sent out: September 21 - Mail ballots sent to military service members and other eligible U.S. citizens living overseas (as required by UOCAVA and MOVE acts)

Domestic mail ballots sent out: September 26 to October 3 - Mail ballots sent to requestors not living overseas. (Mail ballots can be sent anytime during this date range.)

Voter registration deadline: October 7 (Mon.) - Last day to register to vote or change party affiliation for the general election.

Mail ballot request deadline: October 24 (Thurs.) - Last day to ask the elections office to send a mail ballot to you through the mail. However, after this date, you can still request a mail ballot for yourself or a family member under certain circumstances (for example, a family member cannot physically vote in person), but the request must be made in person at the elections office.
